Experience
Elías Adam Kuri, is a Mexican lawyer with 50 years of experience professional, with extensive experience and experience in various areas of the law.
He has a solid academic background, with a Law Degree obtained at the Universidad Iberoamericana (1977), completed with a Specialty in Public, Fiscal, and Administrative Law in the same institution. Furthermore, he has carried out complementary studies, including a Diploma in Data Analysis
Technology Transfer Contracts at the Universidad Iberoamericana and other in Maritime Law at Tulane University.
His dedication and academic excellence led him to receive an Honorary Doctorate, from the Executive University of the State of Mexico in November 2016. Elías Adam Kuri has cultivated a solid professional career in the legal field inside and outside of Mexico. In January 1990 he founded his own firm, Adam Abogados S.C., where he has served as Founder and Managing Partner to date, serving various Mexican and foreign clients thanks to his fluency in the English language.
His experience in the public sector is equally outstanding, with management roles in the Secretariat of Energy, Mines and Parastatal Industry, the Secretariat of Treasury and Public Credit, the Secretariat of Heritage and Industrial Development and in the Ministry of Industry and Commerce.
In addition, he has actively contributed to extracurricular activities, such as his participation as Prosecretary of the Intersecretarial Stimulus Commission Prosecutors and as a Member of the Intersecretarial Commission on Foreign Trade.
Elias is also the Founder of the National Chamber of the Shipping Industry and has held
leadership roles, as President of the Mexican Lebanese Association at Muhami de Abogados and President of the Board of Directors of the Superfraccionamiento Lomas of Cuernavaca A.C. Mexico City, March 2024.
